Boston Blooms

Come Spring, the city stops being gray and drizzly ALL the time and starts being gray and drizzly only some of the time.

And then come the flowers. While DC is much more famous for its flowering trees, Boston’s are gorgeous too.

Graham and I make a special trip to see the trees. We go to Commonwealth Mall each Spring to see the famous Magnolia trees that line the street, and the Public Gardens to see the Cherry trees.  A few weeks ago, things were blooming–so we grabbed enormous ice cream cones, and scoped out how the rich folks live.
