Go Sox!

Sorry for the hiatus–I’ve been sick the past few days, and Graham’s been super busy with work.

I’ve been wanting to share a few of our late August/early September adventures for awhile. Better late then never, right?

So, we’ve achieved an important milestone in our Boston residency. We went to Fenway!

Fenway entrance

It had been pouring all afternoon, so we were sure it would be rained out. But happily for us, the rain turned to drizzle, and as luck would have it, our seats were under the overhang.

The stadium

We had some beers, watched the game, and were surprisingly entertained (neither of us are die-hard baseball fans, by any means).

And the Sox won!

(I can see why people are so enamored with Fenway: it’s such a quaint little stadium, with a very “old-timey” baseball atmosphere, and since the stadium is so small, you can really see the game.)
