Quotation bonanza!

I love reading inspiring quotations, and I think I am going to start sharing some of my favorites here from time to time. Here are a few that have been speaking to me lately.

  • “The perfect is the enemy of the good.” –Voltaire
  • “The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature.” –Anne Frank
  • “Change is the law of life.” –JFK
  • “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.” –Mark Twain
  • “Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more.” –Melodie Beattie
  • “The smallest feline is a masterpiece.” –Leonardo Da Vinci

That Leonardo is one smart guy. =)
